Get away from it all on the Isle of Mull...
Ulva Cottage is a charming and unique house, a few minutes walk from the village of Salen.
Situated at
the edge of a large woodland garden, Ulva Cottage was built by Lady Congleton (who owned the Isle of Ulva) in the 1950s, and has been renovated.
A spacious and light-filled house, it has panoramic views over
the surrounding countryside. The sitting room is upstairs, with windows on three sides, and wonderful views of the setting sun each evening.
There are visiting deer in the garden, and sea eagles, golden eagles, buzzards and other birds can be seen flying around the house. The large woodland garden is pleasant to sit in and makes a great adventure playground for children.
Mull is a large island, and Salen is ideally located for visiting all areas. Salen is roughly halfway between the ferry terminal at Craignure and the town of Tobermory, and at the junction of the road which leads to the scenic west coast. The village is on a regular bus route, and has a hotel (with another nearby), an
Italian restaurant, a general store, garage, post office & laundrette.
Ulva Cottage sleeps up to 6 (4 adults and 2 children maximum) in double, twin and bunk rooms, and makes ideal accommodation for family holidays and quiet getaways. (Travel cot & high chair available). It is let from Saturday to Saturday, and short breaks are available in the low season. The price includes electricity, heating oil, coal, bedlinen and a generous Welcome Pack.LATE DEALS IN JUNE - SEE AVAILABILITY
